Most tracks have been closed to motor vehicles within Barmah National Park, the adjoining Murray River Park (proposed) and Tocumwal Regional Park for public safety and to protect track conditions following local rainfall remaining on tracks.

The following tracks are open within Barmah National Park, however are recommended four-wheel drive only and are subject to change at any time without notice:
  • Sand Ridge Tk (to the Dharnya Centre),
  • the access tracks to the Barmah Lakes Day Visitor Area and Campgrounds,
  • Gulf Tk (to The Gulf Day Visitor Area),
  • Reserve Tk (part – to Little Beach),
  • and Ulupna Beach Tk (to Ulupna Beach).

Depending on changing conditions, 2WD drive vehicles and some 4WDs, including those with low clearance may have difficulty accessing some of these tracks.

Some tracks are open in the River Murray Reserve (Ulupna Island) and Tocumwal Regional Park (adjoining Barmah National Park) including:
  • Carters Tk (part – to Carters Beach 1-5.)
